Handmade Christmas Market Application
The Paperdolls Christmas Market will take place on Saturday 25 November 2017 at The Custard Factory, Birmingham.
Stalls cost £40 and each stall holder will have a designated 6ft square space. Tables are not provided. If you would like to hire a table, the cost is an extra £10.
Applications close on Friday 11 August at 5.30pm.
You will receive an email with the outcome of your application within two weeks of the above closing date. Please also check your ‘junk’ folder. All successful applicants will feature on our website and various social media channels in the run up to the market itself.
The space The Paperdolls (Jo Dowsett & Carolyn Carter) have at the Custard Factory is a large, airy, light and bright industrial style warehouse with white washed walls, exposed beams and festoon lights. The ceiling is mostly glass and lets lots of natural light through. (Pictured)
Public entry to this event is free.
The market commences at 11am and will close at 6pm.
The space will be open to our stallholders from 9am. There will be a health & safety briefing by the Custard Factory at 10.30 and we ask that you attend this briefing.
Access to Market Hall
If you are coming by car, access to the Market Hall is via Floodgate Street. There are double doors leading through an entrance way and directly into the market hall. Free on street parking is available all day on the immediate surrounding roads and there is plenty of space to park directly on Floodgate Street if you arrive early.

If you are coming via train, both Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Moor Street are within easy walking distance of the Custard Factory.
Each of our stallholders will have a space that is approximately 6ft square. Due to space restrictions, we do not allow products to ‘spread’ onto floor space.
The Custard Factory have asked that we do not permanently mark the walls in anyway but they are happy for non-marking adhesives to be used such as white tac/ washi tape. If you would like wall space and/ or access to a plug socket, please let us know on your application form and we shall try our best to accommodate your request.
Please note there is a maximum of 2 people behind each stall. One chair will be provided. If you bring children along with you, it is your responsibility to keep them close by.
Please provide your own table covering for your stall and do try to make your table look dynamic and interesting to draw customers over.

Customers enjoy finding out a little more about you and your products so we find it is a good idea to write a short bio about yourself and your products. Please do feel free to bring business cards/ flyers if you have them.
If your application is successful, payment will be required within 10 days of notification in order to secure your position. Payment details will be sent in the confirmation email. Please note that your place will only be confirmed once the payment has cleared.
We are unable to offer a refund if your application is successful and you have paid but are subsequently unable to attend.
